The Supreme Court of the Komi Republic

The Supreme Court of the Komi Republic was established in 1937. The institution is a federal court of general jurisdiction. The Supreme Court supervises judicial activity of the district courts - it revises judicial acts of the district courts in cassation and supervisory order.

In the way of supervisory review the Supreme Court may revise entered into force verdicts, decisions, and ruling of magistrates. Besides cassation and supervisory functions the Supreme Court acts as a court of the first instance in a number of categories of cases.

In 2010-2011 INTERSYST-Service designed, constructed and put into operation fiber-optic link to connect segments of the local-area network between the buildings of the institution.

The INTERSYST-Service experts also took part in the construction of the structured cable network for the Supreme Court. The network is designed for about 140 workplaces.

The Supreme Court will work more effectively thanks to the installed systems. The further cooperation is being planned.
